Me Without My World

Sometimes it takes one moment in the day for the heavy darkness to surround me. During those times it is most difficult to spread my wings. So I sit with her, afraid to look up and out and not see any light. Those are the days that seem to have more than 24 hours and they are filled with darkness.

For a girl who constantly wants to explore every inch of the world, I suddenly feel the darkness has taken it from me. The light is in me I know it is, I just have to wait it out.
